Minaj, who also hosted the event held in Glasgow, Scotland on Sunday, November 9, played 'Super Bass', 'Anaconda' and a two-minute snippet of a new song called 'Bed of Lies' featuring Skylar Grey.

AceShowbiz - Many big names in music performed at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards which aired live from Glasgow, Scotland on Sunday evening, November 9. Among those stars were Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran.

Minaj, who also served as the event's host and won Best Hip-Hop award, played a three-song medley during her set. She first performed "Super Bass" before exciting her fans by debuting a new song called "Bed of Lies" featuring Skylar Grey.

Minaj treated viewers to a two-minute snippet of the new mid-tempo rap/pop song, which will appear on her upcoming album "The Pinkprint". Grey was present onstage to assist the Young Money raptress. She played the piano and sang the chorus of the track. Minaj closed out her set with her hit "Anaconda".

Earlier that evening, Grande rocked the SSE Hydro stage to perform a medley of "Problem" and "Break Free", two hits from her latest chart-topping album, "My Everything". Halfway through the two-hour ceremony, Sheeran slowed things down with a sweet live rendition of "Thinking Out Loud".

Slash, who presented Ozzy Osbourne with the Global Icon Award, also paid a musical tribute to the iconic rocker with a cover of his "Crazy Train". Other EMA performers included Charli XCX, Alicia Keys, U2 and Kiesza.
