AceShowbiz - Matthew McConaughey expresses his interest to do comic book movie. The "Interstellar" actor who was rumored being eyed to lead Marvel's "Doctor Strange" says he would love to take on a superhero role only if he feels he can add something to it.

"It's not an area that I'm saying I wouldn't like to go," he told IGN. "I don't know, it would have to be a script and a character that I found interesting and one where I can have a personal experience."

"I'm not thinking about a genre like, 'Oh, I really want to do this or I wouldn't want to do that.' If something finds me at the right time, turns me on, and if I can grab a hold of it, see it from the inside and get a feeling that, 'Oh, I've got a way I can do this that can be original.' "

Benedict Cumberbatch was reportedly in final talks to portray the Sorcerer Supreme, but his name was missing from Marvel's latest movie slate announcement while the studio already announced Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther. "I can say that if it were confirmed, we would have introduced him," Kevin Feige explained.
