Grace Dunham has broken her silence on the allegations that she was molested by Lena when she was a toddler and Lena was 7.

AceShowbiz - Grace Dunham took to Twitter on Monday, November 3 to address claims that she was sexually abused by her sister Lena Dunham. She first tweeted, "Heteronormativity deems certain behaviours harmful, and others 'normal'; the state and media are always invested in maintaining that."

The 22-year-old actress followed it up, "As a queer person: i'm committed to people narrating their own experiences, determining for themselves what has and has not been harmful. 2day, like every other day, is a good day to think about how we police the sexualities of young women, queer, and trans people."

Amidst controversy, Lena announced on Twitter on the same day that she canceled two book tour dates in Belgium and Germany. She wrote, "To my Belgian readers, so very sorry to miss the Antwerp Book Fair today but I can't wait to come back and eat fries with you. Much love." She then added, "German readers: I am deeply sorry to miss tomorrow's event in Berlin. I am so grateful for your energy and support. Mit viele liebe."

The controversy came up after some conservative sites including Truth Revolt and National Review ran stories alleging Lena had "sexually abused" Grace. The allegations stemmed from Lena's new book "Not That Kind of Girl", in which she described an incident which happened when she was 7 and Grace was a toddler.

The "Girls" creator wrote, "One day, as I sat in our driveway in Long Island playing with blocks and buckets, my curiosity got the best of me. Grace was sitting up, babbling and smiling, and I leaned down between her legs and carefully spread open her vagina. She didn't resist, and when I saw what was inside I shrieked."

Lena later slammed the allegations, calling it "upsetting and disgusting."
