AceShowbiz - Kasabian's cover of "Ghostbusters" has landed online, just in time for Halloween. The English rock band recorded the song back in September and it was played on radio station Sirius XM, but the audio recording didn't hit the web until recently.
The band gave a new take to the song originally recorded by Ray Parker, Jr., delivering a stripped down version of the theme song to the 1984 movie of the same title. The simple and laid back tune makes the classic song sounds fresh.
Kasabian is going to embark on a U.K. and Ireland tour which will kick off on November 19, with The Maccabees as supporrting act on all dates. The gig includes a five-night residency at London's O2 Academy Brixton and will wrap up on December 13.
