The 'Wonder Woman' star is forced to pass on the historical drama because it clashes with her 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' schedule.

AceShowbiz - Gal Gadot is no longer attached to "Ben-Hur" remake. The Israeli actress was supposed to take on the female lead role by playing the title character's love interest, a slave named Esther, but scheduling conflicts with DC movie forced her to withdraw from the project.
The movie is a reboot of the 1959 Charlton Heston classic. It stars Jack Huston as the male lead, Morgan Freeman as the man who trains him in chariot-racing, and Toby Kebbell as Messala, a former friend whom he clashes with in epic chariot races to find his way to freedom.
The film is planned for February 2016 release, which complicates Gadot's schedule for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" which is due March 25, 2016. She will remain busy through 2019 as she will reprise her role in "Wonder Woman" solo film and is expected to return for two "Justice League" movies.
