After finishing singing 'The Star-Spangled Banner' before Game 7 in Kansas City, the singer falls to the dirt as she walks out of the field.

AceShowbiz - Joyce DiDonato had a little incident after she performed the National Anthem at the World Series on Wednesday night, October 29. After delivering an impressive rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" before Game 7 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, the opera star took a tumble as she walked off the field.

According to Associated Press, DiDonato first tripped in the batter's box but she managed to catch herself. After regaining her balance, the 45-year-old singer continued walking but she later dramatically fell to the dirt. She just laughed at her misstep while the crowd at the stadium cheered her effort.

A few days ago during the World Series, Aaron Lewis mixed up the words to "The Star Spangled Banner" before Game 5 at AT&T Park in San Francisco. He later apologized in a statement posted on his Facebook Page.

"America is the greatest country in the world. 'The Star-Spangled Banner' means so much to so many, including myself," he wrote. "I hope everyone can understand the intensity of the situation and my true intent of this performance. I hope that the nation, Major League Baseball and the many fans of our national pastime can forgive me."
