The actor, who is starring in 'John Wick', is going to star in the sci-fi thriller to be directed by 'Hysteria' helmer Tanya Wexler.

AceShowbiz - Keanu Reeves has signed in on another project. The actor, who played Neo in "The Matrix" trilogy, is set to take part in Lotus Entertainment and di Bonaventura Pictures' sci-fi thriller "Replicas", THR reports.
The movie centers on Reeves' neuroscientist character who tries to bring his family back from the dead following a car accident. He will fight against a government-controlled laboratory, a police task force and the physical laws of science in his attempts to revive them. Tanya Wexler ("Hysteria") works behind the lens from the script by Chad St. John based on a treatment by Reeves and Stephen Hamel.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who worked with Reeves in "Constantine" and "The Matrix", serves as producer alongside Stephen Hamel, Reeves and Fundamental Films. "I am looking forward to collaborating with Keanu once again on this unique take on what lengths a person will go to alter the past, and the implications of those actions," di Bonaventura said in a statement.
Reeves' latest release is "John Wick". The flick landed at No. 2 at the domestic box office after collecting $14.4 million.
