AceShowbiz - Alyssa Milano took to Instagram on Monday, October 27 to share an intimate photo of her and her newborn baby. In the black-and-white snap, the former "Mistresses" actress showed a subtle smile while breastfeeding her daughter, Elizabella Dylan.
She captioned it with a quote from Czech writer Milan Kundera. The quote read, "Ah, the joy of suckling! She lovingly watched the fishlike motions of the toothless mouth and she imagined that with her milk there flowed into her little son her deepest thoughts, concepts, and dreams."
Alyssa and her husband, David Bugliari, welcomed Elizabella on September 4. The couple, who tied the knot in 2009, are also parents to 3-year-old Milo Thomas.
The "Charmed" alum discussed breastfeeding in public in an interview with Best for Babies in 2010. "I wish I could breastfeed in public without feeling as though a picture would show up on TMZ," she said at that time, "I've breastfed Milo in my car numerous times and in fitting rooms at stores. But mostly, when we go out I bring a bottle of expressed milk because sadly, I'm just not comfortable feeding him in public."
Last month, Alyssa announced that she would not return to ABC's series "Mistresses" because of her commitment to her two children. "After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons," she said.
"It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate," the "Who's the Boss?" alum continued, "I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just can not uproot my children and separate the family by moving away."
