The 'iCarly' alum has reportedly suffered losses around $2.5 million after being injured in the accident which happened in 2011.

AceShowbiz - Miranda Cosgrove has had a virtual career collapse that has cost her millions of dollars, TMZ reports. According to the site, the star of "The School of Rock" has filed legal documents in which she explains her reason to sue over her 2011 tour bus accident.

Miranda claims in her suit that the extensive injuries she suffered from the tour bus accident derailed her 25 booked shows and made her lose $400,000. The "iCarly" alum also suffered $560,000 loss in future concerts.

Miranda says she was dumped by Sony Music after the crash because they were counting on her touring. As a result of her injuries, she also reportedly lost a $400,000 contract with Neutrogena. Her team tells the site that the total of her losses could be as much as $2.5 million.

Miranda suffered a broken ankle after her bus collided with a tractor-trailer in Illinois in August 2011. At that time, she was on her way to Kansas for a show as a part of her "Dancing Crazy Tour". Due to the accident, she was forced to cancel the rest of her tour.

In 2013, the "Dancing Crazy" singer and her mother, who was also on the bus when the accident happened, filed a lawsuit and blamed the driver of the bus, the driver of the tractor and the transportation companies for the crash. They claimed the accident could be prevented if both of the drivers kept a "safe and proper lookout." At that time, they sought more than $50,000 each in damages.
