Nominees for the 2015 Grammy Awards will be unveiled during the broadcast of the new TV special on December 5.

AceShowbiz - The annual Grammy Nominations event is merged with Christmas concert this year, resulting in a fittingly titled "A Very Grammy Christmas" special. Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams, Tim McGraw, and Maroon 5 are booked to make merry the joyful concert.

The special gig will feature the artists playing holiday songs and current pop hits, as well as sharing their favorite holiday memories. In addition, it will reveal nominees for Grammys' Album of the Year category. All other nominations will be revealed the morning earlier.

The concert is scheduled to be taped on November 18 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. It will air on CBS this December 5. More musical guests for the hour-long show will be announced sometime soon. LL Cool J is expected to host the special concert.

"We're freshening up, changing this up a little bit and the kickoff for Grammy season will still be getting our nominations out that day, albeit a little differently," says Recording Academy CEO Neil Portnow.

All of the confirmed performers are Grammy winners, except for Grande who scored a string of hits including "Problem" this year. "If you ask any musical artist what their best Christmas gift would be, maybe eight out of 10 of them would say a Grammy nomination," says show producer Ken Ehrlich.

The 57th annual Grammy Awards will take place February 8, 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
