The Hawkeye depicter in 'The Avengers' has admitted that he married his longtime partner, adding that he wants to protect his family's privacy.

AceShowbiz - Jeremy Renner has confirmed that he got married to his girlfriend Sonni Pacheco. The star of "The Avengers", who has a daughter Ava Berlin with Pacheco, opened up about his secret wedding in an interview with Capitol File, saying that he wants to protect his wife and family's privacy.
"I have tried to protect my family's privacy, my wife's privacy. I don't need her to get hammered with my life," he explained. "Privacy issues are important because I want her to go about her day without being bothered. Paps follow me around... that's fine. But I don't like being followed when I'm with my family. I've been talked about a whole lot, because the less I put out there, the less people know, and it makes it interesting, I assume."
Renner is next to appear in "Kill the Messenger" alongside Andy Garcia, Rosemarie DeWitt, Michael Sheen and Mary Elizabeth Winstead among others. In the Michael Cuesta-directed movie, Renner plays a journalist named Gary Webb who uncovers the CIA's role in cocaine trade.
"My guy's job is his life. He's brave enough - and stupid enough - to slide into dark rabbit holes in search of truth," he told Page Six's Cindy Adams of his character. "Then comes this amazing man's shameful, tragic, sad mistreatment. What happens when you ruffle feathers and uncover drug money and what's illegal. I won't look for love in Washington with this because you can't do truth now. You make enemies, not friends."
