The original version of "The New Classic" came out in April after a number of push-backs. It peaked at No. 3 on Billboard 200 and has so far spawned two Hot 100 singles, Charli XCX-assisted "Fancy" and Rita Ora-featured "Black Widow".

The former hit, which has topped the singles chart for multiple weeks, has just been named song of the summer in the U.S. by Spotify. With 16.5 million plays, it became the most-streamed track on the music service in the past three months.
