Tarantino once again partners up with The Weinstein Company to distribute his Western-themed movie.

AceShowbiz - Quentin Tarantino's highly-anticipated movie "The Hateful Eight" will be distributed by The Weinstein Company. The Western-themed movie started filming in January and will be released in fall 2015.

"We are incredibly excited to begin production on 'The Hateful Eight,' as we know this picture will be as innovative, brash and of course fun as all Quentin projects prior," Bob and Harvey Weinstein said in a statement. "There is, quite simply, no other filmmaker like him, and we are as proud as ever to continue this partnership that started over twenty years ago."

The new movie would be shot on 65mm film and have the widest 70mm film release in more than 20 years, TWC said in its announcement. It will be followed by releases in 35mm and DCP formats. All of Tarantino's films have been distributed by TWC from 1992's "Reservoir Dogs" through 2012's "Django Unchained". Richard Gladstein, Stacey Sher and Shannon McIntosh will produce the film while Bob and Harvey Weinstein will exec produce with G. Mac Brown.

"The Hateful Eight" follows the steadily ratcheting tension that develops after a blizzard diverts a stagecoach from its route, and traps a pitiless and mistrustful group which includes a competing pair of bounty hunters, a renegade Confederate soldier, and a female prisoner in a saloon in the middle of nowhere.

Its star-studded cast includes Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth and Amber Tamblyn.
