The star of 'The Imitation Game' who wins Actor of the Year award at the event says, 'I'm going to get off stage now because I drank a lot and I need the loo.'

AceShowbiz - A hilarious video of Benedict Cumberbatch's rambling speech has gone viral. The "Sherlock" actor, who was honored with Actor of the Year award at 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards on Tuesday, September 2 was a bit incoherent after having a few drinks at the event.

"This is wonderful. I'd like to thank James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy for not being available," he joked. "But seriously, it's an embarrassment of riches. I'm in one of those extraordinary rooms with extraordinary people." He also referred to F1 race driver Lewis Hamilton as "motor driver."

"What century am I from? Auditioning for 'Downton Abbey' or some such s**t," he continued. "Not that 'Downton Abbey' is s**t. Where was I? Oh f**k. I'm going to get off stage now because I drank a lot and I need the loo. So thank you very good much, I'll see you in the loo."

Cumberbatch has been having amazing time. Last year, he starred in movies such as Oscar-winning "12 Years a Slave", "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug", "Star Trek Into Darkness" and "August: Osage County". He recently won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie for his performance on "Sherlock".

The 38-year-old actor will next be seen in "The Imitation Game" which tells the life of British mathematician Alan Turing and his role in cracking Nazi's Enigma code during the World War II. Directed by Morten Tyldum, the pic also stars Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode and Mark Strong among others.
