John Stamos Signs Up for 'Members Only'
TV

The 'Full House' alum will star as a 'fast-talking' hedge-fund billionaire on ABC's new midseason drama series.

AceShowbiz - John Stamos is back on ABC with "Members Only". The Jesse Katsopolis of "Full House" takes the male lead role on the upcoming drama series which is slated to debut on the network in midseason 2015.

The new show, previously known as "The Club", is described as an upstairs/downstairs drama set at a fancy Connecticut country club. In the project which hails from "Party of Five" writer Susannah Grant, Stamos will portray a "fast-talking" hedge-fund billionaire husband to Natalie Zea's Mickey, a powerful member of the family who owns the club.

This year is going to be a busy year for Stamos as he's also set to star on and executive produce a comedy series from Dan Fogelman ("The Neighbors"). On the potential new series, he plays a version of himself, a charismatic lifelong ladies man whose life is upended when he discovers that he has a grown son who is nothing like him.

The 51-year-old actor is also involved in a "Full House" reboot which is being developed by Warner Bros. TV. He will be spearheading the project which may have original stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber returning, with Bob Saget and Dave Coulier also involved in some way.

Stamos, who had a recurring role on "Glee" and "Necessary Roughness", recently filmed a guest-starring role on Fogelman's upcoming fairytale musical comedy "Galavant", which will also premiere midseason on ABC. He plays a rival to the titular knight played by Joshua Sasse.
