The E! show has canceled the taping that was scheduled to take place in New York this week as the comedienne is brought out of induced coma.

AceShowbiz - Taping for E!'s "Fashion Police", which features Joan Rivers as one of the co-hosts, is canceled as the comedienne remains in serious condition as of Monday, September 1. A source tells the Daily News that the taping scheduled to take place in New York this week in conjunction with Fashion Week has been canceled.

There's no word when "Fashion Police" will resume production. The talk show was going to cover the fashion hits and misses during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week which runs from September 4 through September 11 in New York.

Joan has been treated at Mount Sinai Hospital after she stopped breathing following a throat procedure in a clinic on Thursday, August 28. Doctors put her in a medically induced coma as they attempted to assess the damage to her brain, but source said on Sunday that "the waking-up process has begun and will take until Tuesday."

Her daughter Melissa Rivers said on the weekend, "Thank you for your continued love and support. We are keeping our fingers crossed."
