Melissa Rivers says her mother 'would be so touched by the tributes and prayers' as she gives update on the older Rivers' condition.

AceShowbiz - Joan Rivers' daughter Melissa Rivers issued a new statement regarding her condition as love, prayers, and get-well wishes were pouring in from fellow Hollywood stars. Thanking fans and friends for their support, she said to E! News the 81-year-old comedienne remained in serious condition.
"My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world. Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery."
The "Fashion Police" star is put in a medically induced coma at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City after suffering complications during a throat procedure in a clinic. The person who placed a call to 911 reportedly said, "We have somebody in either cardiac or respiratory arrest."
"Praying for the great @Joan_Rivers one of the true loves of my life," Kelly Ripa tweeted. Larry King wrote, "To my dear friend @Joan_Rivers - I have known you forever. I wish you nothing but the best in this struggling time. Go get 'em girl." Kathy Griffin joined the well wishers, "Dear @Joan_Rivers, Got your flowers. I DO owe you another dinner. Get well my friend."
Charlie Sheen posted, "@joan_rivers Please come back to us young lady. Your inimitable genius and compassion keeps a world you set in motion, a lot better every day." Kathie Lee Gifford wrote, "Lifting up @JoanRivers in love as she battles for life . Praying for Melissa and the family as well."
