The production of "Star Wars Episode VII" goes back in motion as lead star is deemed fit enough to resume filming. The shooting was briefly halted in June when Ford broke his ankle while shooting a scene involving a hydraulic door of Han Solo's ship Millennium Falcon.

Disney Studios said at that time that shooting would continue as planned while Ford recuperates for at least two months. Ford, who underwent a surgery for his injury, looked healthy and energetic recently when he took the ALS ice bucket challenge on his two feet. He also walked the red carpet of "" without support earlier this month.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the entire cast and crew returned to U.K. this week and the shooting at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire has gone full force. A rep for Ford tells EW that the 72-year-old actor has not started shooting his own scenes yet but will be soon.

Despite the delay in production, Disney keeps the movie's original U.S. release date, which is December 18, 2015.
