'Dancing with the Stars' Season 19 Pros Announced, Maks Chmerkovskiy Out

Returning pros namely Derek Hough and Karina Smirnoff will be joined by new additions including Allison Holker, Artem Chigvintsev and Keoikantse Motsepe.

AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" has announced the pro dancers that will compete in the 19th edition. They include the show's vets Derek Hough, Cheryl Burke, Karina Smirnoff, Mark Ballas, Peta Murgatroyd and Tony Dovolani.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who confirmed his departure in July, is indeed not returning, but his brother Val Chmerkovskiy will be back, along with relatively new pros Emma Slater and Witney Carson. Also missing from the line-up this season are Sharna Burgess and Henry Byalikov who competed in season 18, as well as Tristan MacManus who was last seen in season 17.

The returning pros will be joined by new faces including Allison Holker, Artem Chigvintsev and Keoikantse Motsepe ("Keo"). Interestingly, Allison was a contestant in season 2 of "So You Think You Can Dance" before later returned in seasons 7 through 10 as one of the all-star partners. Artem competed on British show "Strictly Come Dancing" season 8 and has appeared with "DWTS" dance troupe. As for Keo, he toured as part of international hit dance show "Burn the Floor" in over 30 countries.

Cheryl, Karina, Toni and Val showed up on "Good Morning America" Wednesday, August 13 when co-hosts Robin Roberts (II) and Amy Robach announced the pro dancers of "DWTS" new season.

The new installment of the reality dancing competition series will kick off Monday, September 15 at 8 P.M. on ABC. The celebrity contestants will be unveiled September 4.
