A publicist for the late radio legend's daughter says that Casey's three children are working with the authorities following report that their stepmother is planning to send his body to Europe.

AceShowbiz - Casey Kasem passed away two months ago, but the drama surrounding him and his family continues. The radio legend's body has not been buried following his death at a hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington on June 15 and it is said to have been transported to Montreal. On Tuesday, August 12, a representative for Casey's daughter Kerri Kasem spoke to media to give an update about the situation.

Speaking to The Associated Press via an e-mail, the publicist Danny Deraney confirmed that the family was working with the authorities following the latest report suggesting that the radio icon's body might be moved to Europe by his widow Jean Kasem. The body previously was kept at the Gaffney Funeral Home in Tacoma, Wash. before allegedly being transported to a funeral house in Canada.

On Monday, TMZ reported that Jean was making arrangement to send the body to Oslo, Norway. A private investigator hired by Kerri, Logan Clarke, also told NY Daily News similar info, saying, "We have been told by some reliable sources that it's Norway, but we don't have a confirmation."

Clarke added that the children hoped the police could prevent the transfer. "We're trying to do something fast because this is happening right now," he said. A lawyer for Jean, Teruyuki Olsen, said he had no comment on the issue.
