AceShowbiz - Jason Aldean is tired of hearing people criticizing his relationship with Brittany Kerr. Almost two years ago, the country singer started dating the former "American Idol" contestant while he was still married and now he urges fans to "move on" from the drama.
Jason posted an Instagram photo on Sunday, August 10, showing himself and his mistress-turned-girlfriend holding their dog. He wrote along with the photo, "A little surprise for my girl @brittanylkerr tonight. Her favorite pooch @manny_the_frenchie came to my show in Chi-Town tonite. #loveubaby #surprise."
Jason's fans and followers on Instagram began attacking him and Brittany on the photo by saying rude things about him cheating on his wife. Jason then addressed the cheating controversy by posting a second image featuring the words, "You know my name, not my story. You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through."
The country singer also wrote along with the image, "So sick of people judging me and @brittanylkerr over things they know nothing about. I have made mistakes but I am a better person because of it, and wouldn't change a thing. I'm happier than I have ever been, so thank u to all the people who support us. We are happy and life goes on. It's time to move on people. #aldeanarmy #oldnews #timetomoveon."
In October 2012, Jason was caught kissing Brittany in a bar while he was still married to his wife of 11 years, Jessica Ussery. At that time, the "Big Green Tractor" hitmaker said that he "screwed up," had too much drinks in the bar and "acted inappropriately." He tried to save his marriage but failed and ended up filing for divorce in April 2013. In April this year, PEOPLE confirmed that he's dating Brittany.
