The 'Hunger Games' actor who was named Choice Movie Villain for his role in the popular movie said onstage that he was actually 'sweet-tempered' before throwing the berries.

AceShowbiz - Donald Sutherland proved that he was a nice man by bringing little gift for audience at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. The actor, who was awarded with Choice Movie Villain at the Sunday, August 10 awards event, appeared onstage bringing a small bag after his name was announced by Paul Wesley and his co-presenter Lea Michele.

"You named me the most villainous? My wife - I have been married for 42 years - my wife asked me to tell you that she agreed with you," he told the audience members who laughed at his statement. "I on the other hand, do not. I think, on the contrary, that I am very nice. Sweet-tempered and generous - so generous in fact that I have brought you souvenirs from Panem! They're berries - I wouldn't eat them if I were you!"

People at the front row excitedly picked the berries which fell in front of them. Before leaving the stage, Sutherland also threw a white flower to the audience.

Besides Sutherland, another star from "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire", Josh Hutcherson, received an award. Wearing a black leather jacket over a black T-shirt and denim pants, Hutcherson appeared on stage to receive his Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy surfboard.
