'True Blood' 7.09 Preview: Bill's Death Wish
TV

Bill refuses to feed off Sarah Newlin and be cured, believing that it's his fate to die.

AceShowbiz - There's only two episodes left on "True Blood" seventh and final season. When the show returns next week, Sookie retreats in confusion as Bill refuses to feed off Sarah Newlin whose blood can cure him. "Death, that's what who we are. That's all we can give her," he says.

Sarah is still held captive and is later dragged by members of the Yakuza. Jason and Hoyt are having a fight, while Jessica and James seemingly get back together. Pam is in danger as she is seen in chain.

Also in the penultimate episode, Sam makes a choice, Jason exercises uncharacteristic restraint, while Eric faces a dilemma after being caught in a lie. "Love Is to Die" will air Sunday, August 17 at 9/8c on HBO.

The latest episode that aired this weekend featured the death of another character, Violet, who used Jessica, Adilyn and Wade to seek revenge on Jason. "I think she gets honored with that. They honor Violet with a nice death," star Karolina Wydra tells The Hollywood Reporter of her character's demise. "It's definitely a painful death for her. She's been around for 800 years."

She, however, thinks that "Violet is not evil." Responding to fan backlash against Violet, she explains, "It's hard to get behind someone when you don't know their background. When somebody comes in in a powerful manner, you're going to be like, 'I'm sorry, who are you? Excuse me?' "

She continues, "When she first comes in with Jason, she just claims him and tells him how it's going to go down, and she's very aggressive. She's not anybody's friend. It's hard at first to understand that, to go behind that and get to know someone, know their reasons. [Fans] might have not really known who she is, why she's there, what's her reasoning. She's just claiming somebody."
