Wu-Tang Clan Reunites on 'The Daily Show' to Debut New Single 'Ron O'Neal'

The nine living members of the rap group, including Raekwon, RZA and Cappadonna, also talk about their reunion and their long-awaited album in an interview during the show.

AceShowbiz - Wu-Tang Clan reunited for a special appearance in the Wednesday, August 6 episode of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart". The nine living members of the group, including Raekwon, RZA, Cappadonna, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah and GZA, all showed up to debut their new single called "Ron O'Neal".

The track features the rappers spitting their respective bars over some soulful horns and a modern R&B sample. Just hours after the performance, the studio version of the single hit the web via Wu-Tang Clan's SoundCloud page.

The group also had an interview and talked about their reunion during the show. "We trailblazers in the music business, we been around the world, we doing our job. I consider this a sport," Raekwon said, addressing his fallout with other Wu-Tang members.

"I think it's important as an athlete of music to make sure that you've got your business together, make sure you feel happy in whatever you want to do. You just want to feel good about it and at the end of the day you've gotta have your i's dotted and your t's crossed in business, because we have families," he added.

"Ron O'Neal" will appear in "A Better Tomorrow", the group's long-awaited new album which is now scheduled to be released in November. "I think we all started for a better tomorrow," RZA said of the LP. "Wu-Tang, we have something in common with each other - a brotherhood, a respect. And when we said 'a better tomorrow,' we're starting to make a better tomorrow for ourselves, but also to inspire a better tomorrow for the world."

Wu-Tang closed out the show with a performance of their classic "Triumph".
