AceShowbiz - A transcript for Kanye West's deposition for a battery case against a paparazzo named Daniel Ramos has landed online and it reportedly is filled with sarcasm. According to TMZ, when asked where he lived, West told the paparazzo's lawyer, "Earth." He also allegedly said, "I'm the smartest celebrity you've ever f***ing dealt with. I'm not Britney Spears."
During the deposition, the star also shared his opinions on paparazzi. "You can't just say the 'n' word around me. It offends me because you're a white person saying 'ni**a,' " West said at one point when the paparazzo's lawyer Nate Goldberg talked about the rapper's track "Flashlight", which is about paparazzi.
West then compared African American people's fight for their rights in the 60s to celebrities' nowadays. "I mean in the '60s people used to hold up 'Die N****r' signs when my parents were in the sit-ins also," he was quoted as saying. When Goldberg asked if he was equating people's struggle back then to celebrities', the husband of Kim Kardashian answered, "Yes, 100|percent| ... I equate it to discrimination. I equate it to inequalities."
Last July, West was accused of beating Ramos when they were at LAX. West struck a plea deal in March and was sentenced to probation, ordered to attend anger management sessions and perform community service.
