The eldest daughter of President Barack Obama was accompanied by her friends and some members of the Secret Service at the festival.

AceShowbiz - Malia Obama was having fun while attending the Lollapalooza Festival at Grant Park, Chicago this past weekend with her friends. The First Daughter was spotted by many people at the festival which featured famous musicians such as Eminem, Kings of Leon and Lorde.

The 16-year-old girl attempted to blend in with the crowd in a summery sunflower-print skirt and top and a pair of boots suited for the muddy field. She sported milkmaid braids and appeared to be having a lot of fun. Unlike when she was attending Beyonce Knowles' concert, this time she was not chaperoned by the First Lady. However, she failed to blend in as many concert-goers noticed the Secret Service guards who were with her all the times.

According to Chicago Sun-Times, Malia left with her three friends after watching the last act Chance The Rapper on Sunday night, August 3. They were happily chatting away as the group left the muddy venue. Two huge guards in plain clothes made sure Malia and her friends had plenty of space to make their exit.

A festival-goer even managed to take a selfie capturing herself and the president's daughter. "J chillin with Malia Obama," she wrote along with the picture on Twitter. Another user expressed his disappointment for not being able to take pictures with Malia, writing, "I asked Malia Obama for a picture and she said she wasn't allowed to take pictures with people."

This summer, Malia has worked in Los Angeles as a production assistant on the set of "Extant", a new CBS sci-fi thriller which stars Halle Berry. Steven Spielbierg, who is also a donor for Democratic Party, produces the series.
