AceShowbiz - "Straight Outta Compton" is completing its casting. Aldis Hodge ("Leverage) is tapped to play N.W.A's member MC Ren and Neil Brown Jr. ("The Walking Dead) is confirmed to portray another member DJ Yella in the upcoming biopic.

O'Shea Jackson Jr., Corey Hawkins, and Jason Mitchell are set to play the group's members Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, and the late Eazy-E respectively. Arabian Prince was also among the founding members, but he left shortly after MC Ren joined the gang.

The movie is booked for August 14, 2015, which was originally booked for an untitled new Bourne movie. The Jeremy Renner starrer is now pushed back to July 15, 2016. F. Gary Gray ("The Italian Job") will direct the pic from a script by Jonathan Herman.

Cube and Dre serve as producers for the biopic along with Eazy-E's widow Tomica Woods-Wright. Cube described it as a "dramatic story that encompasses hip-hop, dope-dealing, Reaganomics, AIDS, LAPD, rap feuds, FBI, PMRC, the Parental Advisory stickers on the records... all of it."
