A representative for the Jack Bauer of '24' says, 'This is the first he has heard of Freddie's grievances,' and, 'Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best.'

AceShowbiz - Kiefer Sutherland has responded to Freddie Prinze Jr.'s diss that the former "Touch" actor was "unprofessional" when they worked together on "24" in 2010. Apparently refusing to let the beef go on, a rep for Sutherland handles it in a professional way.

"Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze, Jr. more than 5 years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie's grievances," the rep says. "Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best."

Previously, Prinze Jr. told ABC News during Comic-Con that Sutherland's behavior on the set of "24" made him consider to quit acting. "I did '24'. It was terrible. I hated every moment of it," the "Scooby-Doo" star said. "Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That's not me talking trash; I'd say it to his face. I think everyone that's worked with him has said that. I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped."

Words are, Prinze Jr.'s complaint was caused by Sutherland's alcohol-related issue. Sources connected with Freddie tell TMZ that Sarah Michelle Gellar's husband said Sutherland would regularly show up on set drunk and made others wait for him for hours. Sutherland was reportedly also temperamental on the set and got people he didn't like fired. Yet, "all they did was keep rewarding him," a source said.

FOX, however, denied the story. An exec at the network said the Jack Bauer depicter was "nothing but professional during the run of the show and is beloved by cast and crew," adding, "It's so out of left field, 5 years later." The so-called official explained, "We wouldn't have done another '24' if Kiefer were anything like Freddie described," referring to the miniseries "24: Live Another Day" which recently aired on FOX.
