The new 'Mad Max' film teases impressive car chase sequence, while a heavy-battle teaser is released for the last installment of Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit'.

AceShowbiz - "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" footage was not the only treat at the Warner Bros. panel at San Diego Comic-Con. The studio also released teasers for two highly-anticipated movies "Mad Max: Fury Road" and "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" at Hall H over the weekend.

The "Mad Max" sneak peek shows an explosive car chase on the dusty road of post-apocalyptic world. The video features Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. There is not much dialogue in the video and so is the movie which won't arrive until May 15, 2015.

"I was determined not to do conventional thing and do screenplay," director George Miller explained. "So we boarded whole thing like a comic book, with 3500 panels - there aren't many words, people only speak when they have to and I wanted to tell the story in pictures."

Meanwhile, footage of the last installment of Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" movie saga shows an army of people prepping for a war. There is not much shown, but the director teased, "There's a lot of sadness and tragedy. It's always great when you can kill off some main characters."

In the panel attended by the likes of Cate Blanchett and Andy Serkis, Jackson also revealed his plan to release a new extended version of "Lord of the Rings" franchise with unreleased footage. "There are a few scenes that haven't been seen from 'Lord of the Rings', but not many. We might try to put them back in," he said. "It's a big logistical thing which haven't wrapped our heads around. But if there's enough interest..."
