Movie

Lou, Nick and Jacob use the time machine again to prevent a shooting incident, but they inadvertently land in the future.

AceShowbiz - Paramount Pictures debuted the first red band trailer for "Hot Tub Time Machine 2" at the San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 24. The video has now landed online and judging from the said snippet, the sequel to the 2010 comedy is no less funny despite without John Cusack in the cast.

The video shows where Rob Corddry's Lou, Craig Robinson's Nick and Clark Duke's Jacob are now after they found the time machine in the first film and went back to 1986. Lou declares himself the "Father of the Internet" and Nick is a successful singer.

When Lou gets shot, the gang uses the time machine again to try saving his life, but they are inadvertently sent to the future. Now they have to alter the future in order to save the past... which is really the present.

The NSFW features nudity as well as new cast members Adam Scott and Gillian Jacobs. Chevy Chase reprises his role as Father Time/Hot Tub Repair Man, who tells the guys that the hot tub doesn't take them where they want to go, but it takes them where they need to go.

Steve Pink returns to the directing seat, with the script provided by Josh Heald who also co-wrote "Hot Tub Time Machine". The sequel is due on Christmas, December 25 in the United States.
