The 'Hercules' actor adds fuel to the swirling rumor that he will don Shazam suit in an upcoming DC movie with the Twitter picture.

AceShowbiz - No official announcement has been made by Warner Bros., but The Rock keeps dropping hints about his DC character. Early this year, he confirmed meeting with WB and then said his character would have superman level of power. Now, he gives another hint that seems to confirm which role he's going to take.

The latest teaser was shared by Dwayne Johnson on Twitter. The pro wrestler-turned-actor who will next be seen channeling his inner demigod in "Hercules" uploaded a picture of Shazam, Black Adam, and Superman in what looks like an intense fight. "Someone's gonna get it..," so he wrote.

"There's a character out there that we're going to announce very soon that I'm going to play. And, I'll just say this... he has the power of Superman," he recently told Total Film, before denying long-running rumor that he would play a certain ring-bearing hero, "And it's not Green Lantern."

"Believe me, he was a character I wanted to play but there was already another version of Green Lantern and so now we've gone in a different direction. But this character has the power of Superman. He can throw down. Just say the word. That's all I'm going to say."

In an older interview with Collider, The Rock said of what he and WB were looking for in the character that they wanted to bring to the big screen, "The first quality we were looking for was that he had to be extremely complex and have a lot going on. What that does for me as an actor and the studio is it gives us space that we can explore; his complexities."

"The other quality was that he had to - the character we were looking for had to be well-known but never brought to life. Then what that does again as an actor, it gives me a little bit of space, and we talked about personality. It just gives me a chance to put an imprint into his personality, with the set of tools that I could bring to the table and put a very unique twist on his personality, but still pay homage to who he is."

Black Adam is a character who was initially created as a villain but was later revived as an antihero trying to clear his name in "Shazam!" comic series which was originally called Captain Marvel before it was disputed by Marvel Comics.
