The super producer shares a snippet of the dub plate remix of the classic during an appearance on DJ Annie Mac's 'Superstar DJs'.

AceShowbiz - Madonna has remade her 1987 track "La Isla Bonita" for Diplo. The "Material Girl" hitmaker even specially re-recorded the lyrics for her collaborator. The super producer shared a snippet of the dub plate remix when DJ Annie Mac went to his place for her show "Superstar DJs".

As the familiar tune starts, Diplo's friends who are off camera start making signs "No! Stop!" The song, however, continues. The diva then can be heard singing, "Last night I dreamt of Major Lazer," which refers to Diplo's dance group, instead of singing the original lyrics, "Last night I dreamt of San Pedro."

Annie freaks out after listening to the track, shoving Diplo and stopping the song. "I just lost my sunglasses. I just lost my sunglasses," she tells him. "That's why I work with all these big artists. Not to even have hits, just to get dub plates, so I can play them once for Annie Mac," he jokes.

Madonna has been working hard to prepare her next album. In addition to Diplo, she has enlisted some help from Avicii for the follow-up to 2012's "MDNA" which is scheduled to be released later this year via Universal Music Group/ Interscope Records.
