Doomhammer, Dragon Sword, and Lion Shield are displayed at Legendary Pictures' booth at the San Diego event.

AceShowbiz - Legendary Pictures reveals the first look at "Warcraft" logo and weapons at the San Diego Comic-Con. Doomhammer, Dragon Sword, and Lion Shield are seen being put on display in the studio's booth at the annual convention.

The hammer is described as "a savage orc weapon unleashed in the name of the Horde." The sword is "this gleaming blade is wielded in the name of the Alliance," while the shield represents the "symbol of the strength of Azeroth."

Scripted by Charles Leavitt ("Blood Diamond") based on Blizzard's popular video game, the movie stars Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Robert Kazinsky, Travis Fimmel, and Paula Patton. It is set to hit U.S. theaters starting March 11, 2016.

Foster will take on the role of Medivh. He opened up to IGN in a previous interview, "He's a mage, which is essentially a sorcerer. He came up in a time protecting an area, and the way he protected this area was through magic. As peace returned to this land he took a break. He hung up his staff, so to speak, or let his guns get dusty. We meet him as his friends are returning asking for his help in a battle."
