Celebrity

The former reality star slammed the magazine which previously described her as 'basic' in one of its pages.

AceShowbiz - Lauren Conrad slammed Allure Magazine for describing her as "basic." Lauren posted a picture from the publication on July 21, captioning the picture with, "I definitely just got called a basic b***h! Haha! Sausage curls!? Really @Allure_magazine?"

In the picture of the publication, Allure identifies four different types of women, including Lauren, in a page titled "Beauty & the Beat" with theme "Typecasting." According to the page, Lauren is called "basic" while Vanessa Hudgens is called "Bohemian Hippie" and fashion blogger Leandra Medine is called "Street Stylist." The other woman in the picture is unidentified because the picture is blurred.

The information under Lauren's photo in the page reads, "Basic: Made famous by Kreayshawn, and viral by YouTube, the Basic woman is remarkably unremarkable. What's noteworthy about her style is its very plainness. Except to her. She swears those red-soled shoes are cutting-edge." The information also says that "basic" girls are famous with their "skinny jeans" and "blowout or sausage curls."

Allure's representative has not made any response to Lauren's tweet yet. The magazine previously posted on July 19 a tweet related to Lauren. The tweet read, "11 beauty lessons we've learned from @laurenconrad: https://on.allure.com/1sAK1bp #9: Brow rehab can be a game changer."
