AceShowbiz - Reba McEntire continues to promote peace by sharing the music video for her lovely new song "Pray for Peace". Arriving on Monday, July 21 via her Facebook page, the clip was created with the help of the singer's fans.

The first two minutes of the video sees McEntire singing nothing but the powerful "pray for peace/ please pray for peace." Hundreds of people from all over the world then appear on the screen and make unspoken gesture to pray for peace.

"The idea to write the song 'Pray for Peace' came to me last year as I was walking on our place in Gallatin, Tn.," McEntire said of the song, which marks her first music in over three years. "For days I'd sing, 'Pray for Peace', over and over. It wasn't until several months later did the other parts start to fall in place. Some, not until we got into the studio to record it."

"I feel this song is a gift from God. I have never worked on a song as long as this one. It went from a bass drum, fiddle and singers to guest artist singing with me, adding more instruments and even a choir and a bagpipe!" she continued. "It's an act of perseverance, prayer, hope, fellowship and mostly love."

Joining McEntire in the song are fellow country star Ronnie Dunn and her daughter-in-law Kelly Clarkson, who serve as background vocalists. "So honored that Reba asked me to lend my voice to this new song she wrote!" Clarkson wrote on Twitter while sharing a link to the video.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are among musicians who have shown support for McEntire's "Pray for Peace". The couple posted a short clip of them and their children making prayer and peace signs while sitting together.
