Strange will be part of the Arkham storyline in the first season of the FOX upcoming show, while Dent will be 'slightly older' on this Batman prequel series.

AceShowbiz - Two more characters with connection to Batman will appear on "Gotham". In a new interview with IGN, executive producer and showrunner Bruno Heller revealed that Harvey Dent and Hugo Strange would be soon featured on the show.

"Hugo Strange is going to pop up because we're going to start dealing with how Arkham was created and why Arkham was created in the way that it was so, yeah, absolutely," he dished on the storyline. "It's a Season One thing because in our telling of it the way Arkham was created and the why and how is one of the causes of the particular criminal climate in Gotham that allowed Batman to happen."

"The revolving door of Arkham is both a brilliant narrative device because it allows you to - you don't have to kill people off, you can just put them in cold storage - but if you're telling the story from the start you kind of have to explain, 'What the f**k? Why don't you make that place a place people don't escape from?' We're going to explain why it is the way it is and Hugo Strange is a big part of that."

As for Dent who later turns into the villainous Two-Face in the comic books, he won't be at around the same age as Bruce Wayne. "We're playing Harvey Dent slightly older. He's more Gordon's age in this telling," Heller shared. "One of the things to avoid in order not to tell a high school story - which would be great, but it''s a different show on a different network at a different time that I would not be a part of. But he will go back to school and villains will be part of that world."

"Gotham" is scheduled to premiere Monday, September 22 at 8 P.M. on FOX. The network will go full throttle in promoting the new drama at this week's San Diego Comic-Con, with San Diego Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer set to kick off the event with a ride on the Gotham zip line.

FOX and Warner Bros. Television prepare Gotham-branded "police" cars in which registered users can take a ride. Inside the cars, passengers will get a sneak preview of special content from the show. Additionally, the network creates fake newspapers "Gotham Chronicle" that will be distributed to fans at the convention.
