AceShowbiz - Several big names in music have been listed as performers for the 2014 iTunes Festival, which will be held for the eighth time in the U.K. in September. Apple announced on Monday, July 21 that Maroon 5, Pharrell Williams and Sam Smith would be among stars to take the stage at the Roundhouse in Camden.

This year's fest is also set to feature performances from other artists like Beck, 5 Seconds of Summer, Calvin Harris, Blondie, Kylie Minogue and David Guetta. Tickets to the event are free for contest winners. Those who can't get the ticket can still stream the event live on Apple devices.

"The iTunes Festival in London is back with another stunning line-up of world class performers and tremendous new acts," Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, said in a statement.

"These live shows capture the heart and soul of iTunes and we love bringing them to our customers in the Roundhouse, as well as to the millions of people watching all over the world for free," he added.

The first iTunes fest was held in 2007. More than 400 artists have performed in the past, including Adele, Kanye West, Elton John, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa and Paul McCartney.
