Old 'Jurassic Park' Photo of Steven Spielberg With 'Dead' Triceratops Caused Controversy
Movie

Some people, with no good knowledge of the world and Spielberg, posted nasty comments about the filmmaker.

AceShowbiz - Steven Spielberg meant no harm 20 years ago when he posed with a "dead" dinosaur on the set of "Jurassic Park". The old pic caused controversy this week when humorist Jay Branscomb posted it on Facebook in the wake of criticism against teen hunter Kendall Jones.

In a bizarre situation, Spielberg was accused of slaughtering an animal that has been dead million of years ago. Branscomb posted the 1993 snapshot and jokingly captioned it, "Disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a Triceratops he just slaughtered. Please share so the world can name and shame this despicable man."

Unexpectedly, over 6,000 people commented on the picture and some of them took it too far. "He's a disgusting inhumane prick," one wrote, "A**holes like this piece of s**t are going into these beautiful animals HOME and killing them...it's no different than someone coming into your home and murdering you...that's what's so selfish about ppl that hunt they're uneducated and their way of thinking is welllll these animals are overpopulating and are going to die anyway."

Another misguided animal lover wrote, "Steven Spielberg has absolutely no respect for animals. Posing in front of this poor dead animal like that. Barbaric." One also said, "One day we realize that we are killing all animals on this planet and we need them to survive. But when we realize it will be too late."

Branscomb later posted on the comment section, "Stupid people are too stupid to realize when less-stupid people are pretending to be stupid". He later added a photo of Spielberg on top of a mechanical shark on the set of "Jaws". He wrote, "Folks, we need your help identifying the vicious shark-killer shown posing with his illegal prey. Sharks are essential to the eco-system and their waters are protected off the coast of California. If you have any knowledge of this fiend's identity or whereabouts, please contact authorities immediately."
