In a short video uploaded by Wimbledon, Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge can be seen congratulating him for winning the trophy and praising him for the good performance following his win.

"It was amazing. Incredible tennis. Well done," Prince William told the tennis star. "Many congratulations. That was fantastic tennis. It was such a finish," his wife added. Djokovic, who previously won the 2011 Wimbledon, then asked Kate Middleton about her tennis skills. "I'm slightly out of practice at the moment since having George," she admitted.

The Sunday match drew many celebrities. David Beckham, who went to the game with his wife, was spotted chatting a bit with Samuel L. Jackson. Other stars who were present included Bradley Cooper, Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky, Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness, Orlando Bloom and Kate Beckinsale. Pippa Middleton and boyfriend Nico Jackson also watched the game with her parents.

Other stars also congratulated Djokovic and commented on the great game on Twitter. "Man that was a good battle! Congrats to Djokovic but very bummed for @rogerfederer I am confident Rog has more titles to come though!!" Lindsey Vonn wrote. "Congrats to @DjokerNole ...... Worthy champion and a hell of a battle!" Andy Roddick added. "Congratulations @DjokerNole heard it was a great game can't wait to watch it back have a drunk on me," One Direction's Liam Payne tweeted.
