The radio station fired Anthony, who posted racist tweets on Wednesday, saying in a statement that Anthony's 'behavior is wholly inconsistent with what SiriusXM represents.'

AceShowbiz - Anthony Cumia, a longtime host of "The Opie & Anthony Show" on SiriusXM, was fired after posting a violent racist tirade on Twitter. On July 2, Anthony claimed that he was punched in the face by an unidentified woman and called her a "c**t" and "animal b***h."

Patrick Reilly, a spokesperson for SiriusXM, said in a statement on Thursday, "SiriusXM has terminated its relationship with Anthony Cumia of the Opie & Anthony channel. The decision was made, and Cumia informed, late Thursday, 3 July after careful consideration of his racially-charged and hate-filled remarks on social media. Those remarks and postings are abhorrent to SiriusXM, and his behavior is wholly inconsistent with what SiriusXM represents."

Anthony, 53, posted a series of racist tweets on Wednesday, describing a fight he had with a woman who's claimed to be a black woman in New York City's Times Square. He wrote, "So, I'm taking pix in NYC & a black girl who was in frame punched me in the face. I called her a f**king '&$;;-:' cause that's what she WAS! Then she punched me 5 more times. She's lucky I was a white legal gun owner or she'd be dead. Then 5 blacks started giving me s**t!"

"I told them to back the f**k off, this wasn't their show. The c**t then punched me again. Seems white boys don't hit back. Lucky savage," he continued his tirade, "Wish a cop was around. Although she said she'd tell them I sexually harassed her. Lying c**t. I hope she gets shot in her a** f**k face. Ugh. They aren't people."

Anthony additionally posted, "Im f**king livid. If I was an illegal savage I'd have shot her. The I are violence in her was so predictable. I hope she gets killed. It's a jungle out in our cities after midnight. Violent savages own the streets. They all came 2 defend this pig. I had to yell like at dogs. Savage violent animal f**ks prey on white people. Easy targets. This C**T has no clue how lucky she was. She belted me 10 times. I had a gun."

He still continued his tweet, "The c**t animal kept walking into my arm I had up as a block saying 'DONT TOUCH ME!' Then would hit me. I hope a home boy beats her to death. There's a deep seeded problem with violence in the black community. Try to address it and you'll be exiled to racistville. But it's real."

Anthony then posted a picture of the woman whom he claimed he had fought with, writing alongside the picture, "Great pic of the C**TRAG b***h f**k animal pig face worthless meat sack s**t pile stink crotch a** stain rot bung... "

After his firing was announced, Anthony still did not show any regret. He has released his anger on SiriusXM by posting violent tweets. On July 4, he wrote, "Sirius decided to cave and fire me. Welcome to bizarro world. Fired for s**t that wasn't even on the air & wasn't illegal. So, who's next? After the wkend, I'll have a better idea of things. F**k Sirius. I'll pop on the Compound show next week and discuss this with TOTAL FREEDOM."

A Twitter user asked Anthony, "Do you think the xm will make you apologize?" He responded, "The answer is no. Cause I won't. Ever. I'll walk in a second." Another user asked him, "so, ant... Anything you regret lately? Would you do anything over?" He replied, "I was assaulted taking pics. I did nothing wrong. So, no."
