and the family were among the celebrities showing enthusiastic support for their national team. During the match between the U.S. and Belgium national teams on Tuesday, July 1, Hanks posted a snapshot of his family on his WhoSay page.

In the picture, Hanks' family members, including his actor son , gathered in a living room with fists closed and fingers crossed. Their tense expressions were so obvious that they looked funny. The picture was captioned with, "Oh yes. We are watching! US of A! Go! Hanx's."

Having only succeeded in pulling one goal in the last minutes, the USMNT lost 1-2 to the Belgians and had to return home early. However, a significant number of saves were made by the goalkeeper, Tim Howard.

For that, Tom Hanks also had a say. He tweeted, "Tim Howard remains a god. Hanx."
