Ariana Grande Previews Video for New Single 'Break Free'

Grande has said that the forthcoming music video for her new single is 'inspired by Jane Fonda in 'Barbarella' and 'Star Wars' and space.'

is only a few days away from releasing "Break Free", her new single that features production from EDM superstar . Over the weekend, the Nickelodeon star took to Instagram to share a preview of the highly-anticipated song and its accompanying music video.

"This is the part when I break free, cause I can't resist it no more," Grande sings in the snippet. For the video, she's featured wearing white paint designs on her face and dancing around in what looks like a spaceship. "It's inspired by in 'Barbarella' and 'Star Wars' and space," she told of the visuals in a recent interview for iHeartRadio.

"Break Free" is the second offering from Grande's newly-announced album, "", that's due out on August 25. It serves as the follow-up to -assisted "Problem" which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard 100 and is currently spending another week inside the chart's top 5.

Grande is slated to give the first live performance of her new single during one-day resurrection of MTV's "TRL" on Wednesday, July 2.
