'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' New Trailer Answers the Alien Question
Movie

The sneak-peek video shares more action scenes as Raphael vows to save his brothers who are kidnapped by Shredder.

AceShowbiz - As promised, a new full-length trailer for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" has been debuted after all four character posters were unveiled. It opens with the first encounter of Megan Fox's April O'Neil and the title characters, before unleashing more action scenes.

It appears that the villainous Shredder kidnaps some of the turtles and Master Splinter gets injured during the attack. The rat sensei tells Raphael to stop Shredder, who along with his evil Foot Clan has an iron grip on everything from the police to the politician in New York City, and his diabolical plan, but first Raphael must save his brothers.

The video additionally addresses the long-running speculation about whether or not the turtles are aliens. "So they're aliens?" Will Arnett's Vernon Fenwick asks toward the end of the trailer. "No, that's stupid," April replies, "They're turtles."

Whoopi Goldberg and William Fichtner play other human characters, with Johnny Knoxville, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard and Tony Shalhoub lending their voice to other characters. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the movie is set to open in U.S. theaters on August 8.
