Aaron Sorkin in Talks to Adapt 'Flash Boys'

'Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt' is the second Michael Lewis book that Sorkin will turn into the big screen.

Sony has acquired movie rights to Michael Lewis' nonfiction book ": A Wall Street Revolt", with Aaron Sorkin in negotiations to adapt the story into the big screen. Scott Rudin and Eli Bush serve as producers for the feature film.

It's the second Lewis book that Sorkin will tackle for Sony. He previously wrote screenplay for movie translation of Lewis' "". Rudin was also involved in producing the starrer which went on to earn six Oscar nominations.

"Flash Boys" will deal with "the practice of high-frequency trading on Wall Street and how it became a way to rig the system." The book revolves around a group of men on Wall Street including Sergey Aleynikov, a one-time programmer for Goldman Sachs, and Brad Katsuyama, the founder of IEX, the Investor's Exchange.
