New Promo for NBC's 'Constantine' Includes Dr. Fate's Helmet

The said scene confirms previous report that Doctor Fate's helmet would be part of the 'Constantine' pilot.

A new promo for "" includes an Easter egg for DC Comics fans. The preview video released in international market offers a glimpse of Doctor Fate's helmet, confirming previous report that the Helmet of Nabu would appear in the show's pilot.

It's unclear, though, if Doctor Fate will make appearance on the new NBC series. The character was previously portrayed by Brent Stait in two-part episode of "" called "Absolute Justice". Doctor Fate has also been featured on some animated TV series, including "Superman: The Animated Series ", "Justice League Unlimited" and "".

"Constantine" TV series, based on DC Comics' character that appears in comic books "Hellblazer" and "Constantine", is executive produced by David S. Goyer and Daniel Cerone. Matt Ryan takes the titular role, an occult detective who is thrust into the role of defending the human race against dark forces from beyond.

Together with Liv (Lucy Griffiths), the daughter of one of his oldest friends, who is gifted with an ability to see the worlds behind the world and predict supernatural occurrences, he uses his skills to travel the country, find the demons that threaten our world and send them back where they belong.

The supernatural drama series will launch Friday, October 24 at 10 P.M. on NBC.
