Kevin Smith Hints at the Color of Ben Affleck's Batman Suit in 'Man of Steel 2'
Movie

Zack Snyder draws inspiration from Frank Miller's 'The Dark Knight Returns' for the Batsuit in the Superman vs. Batman film.

AceShowbiz - Zack Snyder has revealed in a black-and-white picture what Ben Affleck will look like as Batman in "Man of Steel 2", and now Kevin Smith who got the first look last year before fans did dishes on another detail. The actor/comedian teases the color of the batsuit and reveals which comic book it drew inspiration from.

He told Hollywood Babble-On, "As you may remember, I saw a photo of the Batsuit many months ago, and many people asked online, 'Is that the picture you saw?' No, that is a very cool picture, but that is not the picture I saw....They put it on a fake rooftop, and they lit it up. But it was in color, and you could see every piece of detail."

"So I've seen some people online go, 'Why is this f**king suit any different than the Chris Nolan Batsuit, it's all one f**king color,' " the "Tusk" director went on. "It's like, 'Dude, that's a monochrome photo. You know what that means, one chrome.' "

"That's not a representation of what the suit looks like," he opened up. "So what the suit looks like, and I was always kind of keeping it quiet until they revealed it, but they've revealed it. And you can kind of see, and anybody that...you've seen some people take the picture and color it online."

"If you want to see what this f**king suit looks like, you just go to Frank Miller's 'The Dark Knight Returns', go to the third book, 'Hunt the Dark Knight'...it's the exact f**king outfit he's wearing. That's why I hugged that guy all those months ago."

Of the Batmobile which was also unveiled in black-and-white photo by the director, Smith said, "I will put this to you. What if it's one of a few Batmobiles? What if that's one of a few outfits in the movie? I suspect that's the case."

The sequel to 2013's "Man of Steel" will open against Marvel/Disney's "Captain America 3" on May 6, 2016 in the U.S. Henry Cavill returns as Superman, Gal Gadot is added as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg aka Victor Stone, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred. Familiar faces like Amy Adams and Laurence Fishburne will also be back reprising their respective roles.
