The teaser trailer also features Stiles, Lydia and Derek, and pays tribute to fallen character Allison with a shot of her crossbow.

MTV has released the first promo for "" season 4. Not sharing any footage from the upcoming installment, the video features Scott, Stiles, Lydia and Derek, buried in thick ashes, rising from the ground. The recently deceased Allison is not seen, but her crossbow makes appearance in it.

According to a synopsis released for the fourth season, "Scott, Stiles, Lydia and Kira return to a new semester of school with more human worries than supernatural, while also trying to help their new friend, Malia, integrate back into society. But Kate Argent's surprising resurrection brings a new threat to Beacon Hills, along with the emergence of another mysterious enemy known simply as The Benefactor."

Who The Benefactor is and which actor portrays the role remain unknown. Besides whose character Allison was killed off toward the end of season 3, Daniel Sharman will not return for the new season. Executive producer Jeff Davis previously said Sharman's Isaac would be leaving for France with Allison's father.

"Teen Wolf" season 4 premieres Monday, June 23 at 10 P.M on MTV.
