While Blaine is closer to becoming a superstar, Rachel is on the brink of losing her 'Funny Girl' role.

AceShowbiz - "Glee" is set to welcome award-winning actress Shirley MacLaine in next week's outing. Her appearance is previewed in a newly-released sneak peek for the said episode, teasing her duet with Darren Criss' Blaine.

On the musical drama series, the "Downton Abbey" actress portrays a New York socialite intent on turning Blaine into a superstar. "You are unstoppable," she gushes over Blaine during a lunch while Kurt, who is originally asked to perform for the wealthy socialite, is nowhere to be seen in the fancy restaurant.

While Blaine is closer to becoming a superstar, Rachel jeopardizes her "Funny Girl" lead when she auditions for a television pilot. She looks upset although her agent seemingly suggests she could be "a face for radio."

"The Back-Up Plan" will air Tuesday, April 29 at 8/7c on FOX. Also in the episode, Mercedes tries to help get Santana in on her recording deal.
