During a chat with the talk show host, the NBC News anchor clears things up about his involvement in the clips, saying, 'Let's be clear...I've never said 'hippity.' '

unleashed another mash-up video on his "Tonight Show" Monday night, April 21. This time, his staff cut together clips of the NBC News anchor to make it look like he's rapping to 's 1994 hit "Gin and Juice", with Natalie Morales, Richard Engel and Lester Holt making cameos.

The video quickly became a hit, having been viewed more than 1.8 million times on YouTube. Appearing on the NBC late-night show, Williams set things straight about his involvement in the mash-up clips.

"People think I have somehow colluded into the making of these videos," he said. "Let's be clear...I've never said 'hippity.' " He jokingly claimed actor thought he's now "a huge figure in the rap and hip-hop communities."

Delivering his jokes, Williams said, "This is spooking me out because there's a guy, whose job for months has been sitting in an editing room looking at images of me and finding individual words... I know that he works here and I have never met him. If you're on my staff, I know your hopes, your fears, your dreams and I know all about your family."

"Your staff, I imagine, is a much more anonymous place," he continued. "C'mon, you've told me these are little people to you. That's exactly that phrased you used. But there's a guy who I've seen in the cafeteria, there's a guy who I've seen in elevators, who has looked at my face for a living, and it's spooky. It's frightening."

He went on suggesting some tracks that he would like to see himself rapping to in future mash-ups, saying, "I'll do Luda. I'll do 'Roll Out'."
