TV

Meryl Davis' fiery and passionate tango earns a perfect score, while Amy Purdy blows guest judge Redfoo's mind with her lively jive despite a little mishap.

AceShowbiz - Party was in the house on "Dancing with the Stars" Monday, April 21 as the remaining eight pairs returned to the ballroom to rock party anthems. Redfoo of LMFAO served as a guest judge in the episode, stating, "I'm looking for something that's going to rock my socks off!"

After a group opening number set to Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A.", NeNe Leakes and Tony Dovolani learned they're safe. They danced a salsa to Nelly's "Hot in Herre" which earned 33 out of 40 points. Len Goodman called it fun, Bruno Tonioli noticed her "feet were a little bit shaken," Carrie Ann Inaba said "it was not as intense as last week," but Redfoo thought it "was hot!"

Candace Cameron Bure, on the other hand, was in jeopardy. For her dance this week, she did a cha cha set to Icona Pop's "I Love It" with Mark Ballas. She found it hard to be sexy, but managed to pull it off after doing it in character. "You're sexy! You just don't know it," Bruno told her," while Len praised her "terrific" leg action." The former "Full House" actress got 32 points.

Following their flawless performance which received the first perfect score of the season last week, James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd were not up to par this week with their "Grease"-inspired quickstep. Len said "there was a rule infringement" and complained about the technique, while Bruno said, "It could have been a bit lighter." The Big Time Rush singer earned 35 points but was declared safe.

Derek Hough teamed up with Allison Holker for a Macy's Stars of Dance number before Danica McKellar, who was announced in jeopardy, took the stage. She danced a cha cha with Val Chmerkovskiy. Redfoo liked the chemistry between the two, saying, "It looked like you were in love with Val." Len gushed, "I tell you that is the best dance of the night so far." Danica received 36 points.

Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy went all out when dancing a tango to Calvin Harris' "Feel So Close" after learning they're safe this week. Len said the fiery number "was full of attack," Carrie Ann said "there is something so magical happening between you two," and Redfoo said it "was out of this world." The Olympic ice dancer earned a perfect score of 40.

Drew Carey told his partner Charlie White he sensed that it would be his last week on the competition. He indeed joined Candace and Danica in jeopardy, but it's not until the end of the show that he learned his fate. He danced a tango to Rick James' "Super Freak", dressing like a pimp. Bruno said, "The technique was a bit over the place," but added, "You put on a great show." Len also noticed "there were a few mistakes," but praised his commitment. The comedian earned 32 points.

Charlie White and Peta Murgatroyd came out later to dance a cha cha to "Everybody Dance Now". Carrie Ann loved it and complimented him for improving on his "hip work so much." Redfoo said the performance made him want to dance. The Olympic ice dancer earned 36 points.

Amy Purdy and Derek Hough was the last pair to dance. Their lively jive to "Shout" was dubbed "fantastic" by Len although he noticed "there was an incident in the middle." Carrie Ann agreed with Len, while Redfoo gushed, "That blew my mind." Amy got 38 points.

Hosts Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron then delivered the bad news to Drew that he was eliminated that night. Still, he was proud of his achievement, saying, "I got farther than I thought I would." He added, "I just want to say thanks to 'Dancing with the Stars'... Cheryl's great. Thanks for letting me borrow your dance floor and fulfill this fantasy."

He went emotional in a taped segment as saying, "I made a lot of really good friends here. Everybody's so nice. There's a really good spirit here and sense of friendship and community."
